Sake Happy Hour! Friday, January 17, 5-7PM
Last January's first-ever in-store sake tasting was one of the most unexpectedly crazy events of the year. So I hope you'll join me at the Tasting Table next Friday evening for round two: our 2nd Annual Sake Happy Hour! If you've ever been curious about sake, this will be a great opportunity to taste a range of outstanding examples and to learn about all of the complex processes that go into its production. Just like with wine, there are quite a few variables that define the uniqueness of the finished product, so there will be quite a bit to talk about! Please stop by to taste a range of beautiful handmade sake, including Bijofu Hina from renowned brewer Akira Ohara of Hamakawa Shoten Brewery. And don't forget: Sagami is right down the block—you just might find the perfect bottle or two for your next trip.

Visiting Winegrower Tasting with Mark Wentworth of Wentworth Vineyards! Saturday, February 22, 2-5PM
Since the release of his 2018 vintage (his first) just a few years ago, Mark Wentworth has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of California's elite artisan winegrowers. If his outstanding Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from his estate vineyards in the Anderson Valley and Mendocino Ridge AVAs have flown under your radar until now, we look forward to sharing his exceptional wines with you.

Visiting Winegrower Tasting with Clément Boillot of Domaine Louis Boillot! Saturday, March 1, 11AM-5PM
Domaine Louis Boillot is one of the most unusual tiny Burgundy estates, given that its holdings span villages in the Côte d'Or from Fixin all the way down to Volnay, as well as nine vineyards in Moulin-à-Vent and Fleurie in Beaujolais. Tasting these wines, from such a diverse set of places, is an extraordinary Burgundy lesson, and one not to be missed. Please join us as we welcome Clément Boillot to Moore Brothers for the very first time, and to taste a range of his exceptional 2022 red Burgundies, including his superb Volnay Premier Cru Les Angles.
