In 1996, Greg Moore, the Sommelier / General Manager of Le Bec-Fin, and his brother David, a wine retailer, opened Moore Brothers Wine Company, offering a collection of personally selected wine in a small store in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
The wines are selected via a direct, personal relationship with many of the finest producers in their respective regions, shipped in temperature-controlled containers, and presented in a friendly, comfortable retail environment which serves over sixty-thousand enthusiastic customers.
We go to the source ourselves to find wines made by artisans who are motivated by a sense of responsible stewardship–of their heritage, as well as of their vines–and who are committed to the highest standards of quality.
Wine “grower” best describes the people who produce the wines you’ll find at Moore Brothers. Many come from families who have produced wine in their regions for multiple generations, and feel closely tied to their local cultures, and personal heritage.
All are committed to sustainable agriculture and a good number practice “biodynamic” farming. Most produce fewer than 6,000 cases in any given year, and their wines perfectly reflect the culture and terroir of their region and vineyards. We are privileged to share in their work, and invite you to join this wonderful community of wine growers, and wine lovers.
Come taste the difference of fine, artisan wine.
