It’s that time of year again, when the whole family comes into town to celebrate another birthday with mom. This is her 87th (!)
So Susan and I have house guests; my brother John*, and his wife Jackie. Last night, for their arrival, we roasted up a loin of pork, and drank an absolutely perfect bottle of of Sergio’s “young vine” Dolcetto Lorenzino.
This is one of those gorgeous “summer reds” that work with just about everything. I’ve had it with grilled salmon, grilled filet, and vegetarian dishes. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’ll find it in all the stores.
