Susan picked up some lean, grass-fed beef at the Haddonfield Farmer’s Market, and wanted burgers on-the-grill with roquefort. It sounded like a plan, and I started thinking about the wine…
One of the staff happened to ask what we doing for dinner, and jumped up and down over the Vinsans Ricard, as a perfect pairing (apparently just about everyone on the staff had had this but me).
This was off-the-charts delicious. The only problem is, it’s too easy to drink, and we wound up finishing the bottle in about 45 minutes (!). Also, Vincent Ricard didn’t make much, so we don’t have much. If you see it in one of our stores, jump all over it. Maybe next year Vincent will bottle a little more…
