tasting with greg moore
ByAfter nearly seven years of preoccupation with the opening of our third store in New York (finding the ideal location, negotiating the lease, construction, the abject panic on the remarkable discovery that no one in New York had ever heard of us, and finally, two consecutive years as the number one ZAGAT-rated wine shop in New York), I’m ready to turn my attention to what I really enjoy: talking about wine.
So, on Sunday the 9th, Saturday the 15th, and on Sunday December 7th, I’ll be the “bartending sommelier” at a series of scheduled tastings in our beautiful Wilmington store.
Here are the dates:
Delaware Events
| Sunday, November 9: | Visiting Producer: Pas d'Escalette |
|---|---|
| Saturday, November 15: | Wines for Thanksgiving |
| Sunday, December 7: | Wrapping up the German Wine Weekend! See the "events / tasting" calendar for details! |
Anyone who has been to a “Greg Moore tasting” knows I love to hear myself talk. I”m grateful to everyone who listens, and look forward to seeing you in Wilmington.
Thank you for your continued confidence.
Greg Moore
All tasting at Moore Brothers Delaware is free, subject to regulation by the Delaware Commissioner of A.B.C.

To the Attention of Greg Moore:
I attended the German-American Chamber of Commerce event last evening which you presented.
I felt compelled to email you and thank you for presenting the event.
The wines were unbelievable and I really enjoyed learning more about their German heritage.
I also found it very interesting to hear more about Bacharach. I went to Germany a few years ago for the first time and when visting Bacharach, I fell in love with the Wine from that area.
I will be visting one of your stores in the future
