meursault premier cru poruzots domaine henri germain

Wine
Domaine Henri Germain was established in 1973 when Henri, brother of François Germain of Château de Chorey les Beaune set out on his own. His son Jean-François is now in charge, though Henri continues in the vineyards. Most of the production comes from the premiers crus of Beaune, Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet, including Beaune Bressandes, Meursault Perrières, and Chassagne-Montrachet les Morgeots. The grapes for this wine include Grenaches, Syrah, Cincault, and Carginan, farmed organically and hand-harvested from all […]

The Trias Mitterberg Weiß is a very limited bottling from Ignaz, produced with Chardonnay and two very distinct varieties; Petit Manseng, and Incrocio Manzoni (the two together are approximately 10% […]

wawerner ritterpfad spatlese feinherb weingut johann peter reinert

Wine
The estate has been passed directly from father to son since the first Johann Peter Reinert established it in 1813. Peter represents the fifth generation, and it is his effort over the past twenty-five years that has catapulted the estate to the front rank of producers in the Saar, despite the challenge of growing individual wines in six different villages – in more than a dozen different vineyards – that total only 4.2 hectares of vines.

The weathered blue slate of […]
