Topping off a perfect Sunday with Susan (we spent the day at Rittenhouse Square’s Art Show), was a perfect bottle of Paolo De Marchi’s latest release of Chianti Classico (2005).
Giving our new ovens a test-drive, I put a little roast of beef with potatoes ‘n carrots in a pot with olive oil and herbs, and almost drank the whole bottle before the roast was done. MAN!, this is just perfect wine, and with red meat (the natural accompaniment) it sings. As my daughter would say, “Bangin!”
