The “great” growing regions in Germany are the Rheingau, Mittelrhein, and certain parts of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer. This wine, made by Peter Jakob Kühn in the Rheingau village of Oestrich, is one of those wines that reminds you that the Rheingau is potentially the greatest of them all.
