premier pas ‘n london broil – yum!

Still trying to catch up with last weekend’s “wine-o-rama,” when Susan and I had nothing but great food and wine matchups. We’ve both been extremely busy, so a chance for three meals in a row was a treat!

We finished up the weekend with a delicious London Broil off the grill, and drank the wonderful “Premier Pas” ‘05 from Julien Zernott. I love showing this wine at the tasting table in New York, where (unlike the sophisticates in Wilmington and Philly) the customers are shocked to find such good wine at such low prices.

This was the perfect wine for the grilled meat, which was marinated in a little olive oil, and garlic. It was hard not to just finish the whole bottle, but Susan and I had to get up early, and start the whole routine over again…
I’m always grateful for Sundays…
