What can I say about Paolo De Marchi (at left) that does justice to the relationship we’ve had for the last 15 years?
Further, every time I try to write something about Paolo, my research leads me down every imaginable path: history, theology, economics, viticulture, agriculture, just plain culture, etc. to the point I have to stop and just say this…
Paolo De Marchi, aside from being, perhaps, the most respected wine grower in Italy, is the nicest person I’ve ever met. I know of no one who genuinely loves the experience of being human more than Paolo (parenthetically, I’d add that the ladies like him too).
We love this guy.
