‘nuther great one from germany

Pete Jakob Kuhn Riesling LabelSpeakin’ of Riesling (aren’t we always?), the 2007 harvest brought magnificent fruit to good growers like Pete Jakob Kühn, and the Oestricher Lenchen Kabinett is a great example.

This comes from an assemblage of tiny (very) parcels Peter farms bio-dynamically in the Lenchen, an ancient vineyard overlooking the Rhine River in the Rheingau…which is where the Benedictines “discovered” the magical connection between Riesling and the soil. Each vineyard site produced unique wines, year after year, consistently. Yes, “real wine” is magical…
