A blend of grapes coming from Edna Valley and Arroyo Grande, fermented and aged in small, neutral oak barrels, by one of the finest grower/winemaker teams in California. Creamy textures with forward fruit, and just a small hint of nuanced oak.
Goat cheeses, crudité, and butter-laced seafood preparations (Coquille St. Jacques!) work very well with this wine.

There are eighteen contiguous hectares of sloping schistose-clay vineyards that are among the highest in Chianti, and perfectly sheltered from the Tramontane (north wind) by the surrounding oak forest.
